Power Computing

Power Computing was the first company to successfully make Apple Macintosh clones with direct sales to its customers. Dr. Kim was one of the first institutional investors and helped lead Power Computing to become the first company to sell $1,000,000 of product over the internet, beating others such as Dell, Ebay, and Amazon to that historic milestone. In 1997, Power Computing was acquired by Apple for $100 million.
